Off to DragonCon

Today is the day we set off for DragonCon. More importantly it is Ariel’s 13th Birthday. We have some cool presents for her. We even got her a game for her Game Boy Advance so she would have something new to play on the plane. I will feel a lot less tense once I am on the plane and on my way to Atlanta. I haven’t any problems about air travel, but I live in fear of juuuuust missing the plane. I don’t know if I will have an internet connection at the hotel. More and more hotels do have them so if I do then I will blog. If not I’ll be back next week with tales to tell.

So Kobe apologized and the case was dropped because the woman didn’t want to participate in the case anymore. I wonder if she will continue with her civil suit or drop that too. We may never know what changed her mind but I think something happened. Either the defense found something out they could use or the woman realized that this was going to happen and she was going to be cross examined with her previous sexual history. I am not saying Kobe is right or he won. I think we will never really know what happened in that hotel room. But something about this case stunk like last weeks diaper pail.
