Aug. 22nd, 2004 08:59 amOn a couple of blogs I read the bloggers were figuring out what they were doing 10 years ago. I thought I would give it a try as well and found out some interesting things.
1994 was a pretty quiet year for me over all. I was the Production Stage Manager at Georgia Ensemble Theater and did some additional stage managing at the Horizon Theater. I taught several courses in puppetry in association with GET to both adults and kids. I became the museum carpenter at the Center for Puppetry Arts. It was always fun to load in and out the traveling exhibits. I I was working tech at DragonCon. I was working at Oxford comics and occasionally filling in at the bookstore. I still miss Oxford Books even though I am living up here in New York. I especially miss the second hand bookstore which had so many cool books come through it. I got first shot at most of the puppetry books and built up a lot of my collection from there.. I taught several courses in puppetry in association with GET to both adults and kids. My roommate was Katie and we had a very nice apartment just north of the perimeter in Atlanta. The only problem was a flea infestation that came from the neighbors dog and house. It was a successful year overall since I spent more time doing theater than anything else. It was in 1995 that many things changed for me.
