Feeling a bit better
Jul. 30th, 2004 10:01 amMy head cold seems to be going away. I am holding great hope for that to happen. Travel always seems to drain the energy right out of you. Any rest/relaxation you get on a vacation can vanish on the trip back home due to a multitude of factors. If I am going to get sick, it seems to happen after I have been traveling.
Still waiting for the box to ship my poor sick little I-Book in. If it doesn't come today, I plan to call Apple again and find out what is going on.
I need to sit down and write out a plan for what is next. I am still trying to find that "perfect" job since the one I have is very nice but is basically a freelance gig with some very nice perks.
I heard Kerry's speech last night. I thought that he did very well in defining himself and his campaign. It started a bit slow but by the end he was all revved up and ready to go. I don’t care what your political affiliations are; I just want everyone who reads this to vote in the election. We need to hear all the voices of America not the minority of people who do exercise their right to vote in every election. I have voted in both national and local elections since I turned 18. I consider it both a right and a privilege that many do not have in this world. And yes one vote can make a difference. Learn about your local politicians and what they believe in. School boards elections are important. City Council is important. The policies that they create impact on you. Know who your Senator and Congressman (woman) are and what their voting record is. With the Internet, this has been come so much easier. Vote and make your voice heard.
