Jul. 16th, 2004 09:18 amI had a number of things I wanted to post today but most of them went right out of my head when I sat down to type. So here is what is currently in my head.
I have to pack the girls and me for our trip to visit my parents. This time is much easier since I am not trying to finish costumes and pack at the same time. I do have to take the girls shopping for a few items that will be used the rest of the summer. Ariel scored a bunch of t-shirts at Shoreleave so I don’t have to worry about that. I am trying my mother’s trick of making lists of what I need to bring. I have to remember to bring the sleeping pink blankie or I am in for it. That and a crib sheet.
I have been asked to be on a costuming panel at DragonCon which should be fun. I am willing to be on other panels if they ask me. Lord knows I am qualified to talk about a number of subjects.
I have lost the remote to the cable box somewhere in the living room. The current theory is that Caroline walked off with it somewhere and put it down. We are hoping she can make it reappear or it makes a magical appearance when I finish putting everything away from the Convention.
