Forward Movement
Jul. 4th, 2004 08:36 amHappy Independence Day! If you are using fireworks to celebrate, please be careful. I am hoping that we can go down to the dock to watch various displays this evening.
It is one of those bad news good news (sort of) that happen in all our lives. Caroline woke up from her nap yesterday and was very clingy. She just sat in either my lap or Peter’s and didn’t want to eat solid food at all. We took her temperature and it was elevated. She watched “Finding Nemo” from Peter’s lap clutching her pink blanket and holding on to his arm. She is on a antibiotic for an ear infection. We were all suppose to go to the Mets vs. Yankees game today. Peter and Ariel are still going and meeting up with some friends for the other two tickets. I am going to stay home with Caroline who still is not at her best right now. Gives me another day to work on Costumes. Got Goblin Helmet #2 started. It is going to need some work. I am now working on Jareth’s clothing especially the cape which is proving to be a challenge. My goal for the day is to get the cloak well on its way along with the breast plate for Jareth. Goblin clothing and armor is continuing to progress. I am hoping by Wednesday to be down to detailing so I can take Thursday to shop, clean, and pack for Shoreleave.
