I was reading the 3 bears to Caroline the other day and I found a flaw that is now really bugging me. It’s about the porridge and basic thermodynamics. Now Papa Bear’s was too hot, Mama’s too cold, and Baby Bear’s just right. Shouldn’t Mama’s be just right and Baby’s is too cold given the size of the bowls? The only way I can justify it would be the composition of the bowls themselves or may be I am over thinking the matter.
For Mother’s Day I received some very nice gifts including a massage set and the Monster Legacy DVD gift box. It includes the Spanish version of Dracula that was filmed at the same time as the English version. There are lots of cool Universal monster movies that I have not seen in ages. The massage set looks very nice. I am a firm believer in relaxation and stress relief since I had mono which put me flat on my back and made me slow down and relax. I love taking a long hot bath with lots smelly soaps, sponges, and scrubby things.
We went down to visit Peter’s parents for Mother’s Day since they hadn’t seen Caroline since February and she is growing like a weed. The trip down was uneventful until we were 10 minutes away from our destination. Caroline had woken up from her nap and was babbling along. Then she stopped. There was a pause and she proceeded to empty the contents of her little stomach all over the car. She managed to hit the front dashboard. We had to stop the car and change her. We then spent the first 30 minutes of our visit cleaning up the car and the car seat and one of her favorite bears and.....well you get the picture. On the way home we had our fingers crossed the whole way (which made it hard to drive). She arrived home without any turbo barfing. *sigh* Adventures in Parenting.
