OK, maybe they were right this time. We have about 12 inches of snow outside on top of ice and sleet that both fell before and was still there from the storm 2 weeks ago. So under the snow is a very slick surface. Working out of the house can be a big advantage on days like today. I don't have to go into the office, just to my desk and I can start working on yet another freelance project. The problem is that currently after this project, I don't have one lined up for a bit. The life of a freelancer is not a secure one at all.

I knew when I went to bed last night that I was going to wake up miserable. I could feel the cold taking hold of my body. I did all the preventatives I knew but it still took hold. So this morning my head felt twice its normal size. *sigh* so I am not going with Peter to his lecture tonight and the convention this weekend is looking pretty dubious too. That's too bad since it would have been good for Caroline to see her sister Gwen again. Caroline is getting over a cold and is very clingy. *sigh* I want to breath through my nose again.
