puppetmaker | One of THOSE Mornings (Reply)

It is one of those mornings when the brain is in a fog and the nose will not stop dripping. I can't seem to put two thoughts together and get them to stick. I do what must be done right at that moment because it is looming in front of me and then sit back and try to remember what I thought I was going to do next. This morning I woke up for a bit a 6 to make sure Ariel was up for school since she just made it yesterday for a number of reasons including forgetting an alarm. I then went back to sleep until 8:15 when two of the cats set up a yowl outside the door. I opened the door and they ran down the hall to Caroline's room. I could hear her babbling from her room. I got her up and dressed then ran downstairs to get the paper recyclables out to the curb. As you can imagine, we have a lot of paper to place out for this. If we miss this pick up then it is two weeks to the next one.

I am sitting here trying to figure out what I am going to do after I finish this entry. Caroline wants to play another round of Run Around the Living Room Chasing Caroline. I think it is too noisy a game considering that her daddy didn't make it to bed until 5 AM. So I think we are going to go for crayons and paper or blocks. After that I want to get some other stuff done including some organization to the living room and putting away all the books we bought at DragonCon. I also have some masks I need to start for a play I am stage-managing as a Showcase in New York. Yep, I am stage-managing again. Even better is that my little Equity Card is come in useful. More on that show when I have the formal announcement.

Yesterday I managed to get all the DVDs back into their cases from all our travels this summer. I also got the stray DVDs that were mysteriously in those cases back into their original cases. You can get many more DVDs on a shelf then you ever could with Video Tape.

I am grateful for the DVD format.
