I've pretty much resigned myself to waking up periodically and falling back asleep in the course of my nightly slumber. I was helped by an online course called CBT for Insomnia, which helped me realize that I was getting more sleep than I was giving myself credit for and that I was going to bed earlier than I needed to.
I'm also a fan of naps, though I know that isn't practical for everyone.
