More Snow Headed Our Way? No Thank You.

puppetmakerThis morning I awoke several times listening to the wind slam into the house and the house rattle at the impact. I am more concerned about losing power today than I was when the blizzard was on top of us.
Then I look at the weather forecast only to find the possibility of 5 to 8 more inches on top of the snow that is already covering the landscape. It doesn’t seem like much but on top of everything that is frozen out there, it will be a problem.
Superbowl is tomorrow. I have the healthy snacks in place along with one or two of the old favorites. I can remember watching football with my dad munching on potato chips with onion dip. I am going to say the Seahawks are going to repeat and it is going to be close and there will be three calls by the officials that are going to be discussed ad infinitum.
Peter has a new book out this week entitled The Avengers Vault. It is pretty slick with all kinds of pullouts and fun info.
I would like, for those of you who have a say, to consider his novel Artful for the Hugo award along with anything else it is eligible for.
It is -9 F right now with the wind chill factor.
Caroline is pretty much recovered from the flu. She still has a sniffy nose but we are trying to figure out if it is from the flu or from her allergies which can kick up at this time of year. She did take Tamiflu and it did cut the time she was miserable.
I am grateful for medicines that make Caroline feel better.
