No Strings Attached

I was laid off more than a year ago, and despite hundreds of resumes sent off, I've only had a handful of telephone interviews. I keep getting told I have to start shaving years, even lying about experience, but that goes against the grain. I sleep better not lying about my age or my experience, but I remain unemployed. I keep telling myself there's something around the corner, though!
