March in like a lion and, well, out like a lion as well

The rain is pounding and the wind is howling. This end of the month has nothing lamb-like about it. There are flood warnings into tomorrow afternoon. Fortunately we stock the larder earlier so there is no need to go out much before noon so I am hoping that things will slow down a bit.

Today I have a couple of things to do. Some inside the house and a few errands outside the house.

The bowling was very exciting to watch. The final two bowlers tied and had to do a one ball roll off. The local, Brian Ziesig, won against the pros including Jason Belmonte who has a rather unique two handed style. Mr. Ziesig had to throw three strikes in the 10th to tie the game and force a sudden death bowl-off. This is a very rare occurrence to most however Peter has been there for that two times now.

Passover starts tonight. I wish everyone who observes the holiday a pleasant one.

Now onto other things I need to do for today.

I am grateful that Caroline has off from school today since the weather was just awful this morning.

I just looked out the window -- the storm drains at the intersection are starting to back up, which means...oh god, I don't want to look downstairs :shudder:

I keep thinking I need to go grocery shopping for some reason.

Well, the phrasing is "out like a lion and in like a lamb".

So you're in the "out like a lion" phase..and "in like a lamb" should start about...April 1-ish? ;)

Were you wearing a black shirt at the Plastic Ball tournament? I saw a girl who looked like Caroline behind where the bowlers were.
