10 Things about me Meme

Once you have been tagged, you have to write a blog with 10 random things, facts, goals, or habits about yourself. At the end, choose 10 people to be tagged. You can't tag a person who has tagged you.

-I am double jointed in both thumbs. It’s a family trait and makes it very hard to play classical guitar

-For years I though that certain images from the Prisoner were a bad dream that I had. It was only years later when PBS re-aired it I found out that it was a TV show

-I don’t like talking on the phone. I do it and have a good phone voice but I really don’t like them.

-Our first home computer was an Apple II with a tape recorder to load data. We had the game Lemonade Stand. (We also had a Pong game)

-I discovered Anime on TBS with Battle of the Planets and the mishmash of Captain Harlock and the Queen of 1000 years. (I also watched Space Giants)

-I have broken my nose at least 5 times according to the x-rays. I can account for 4.

-I got engaged at the Adventures Club at Pleasure Island at Disney World. The club is gone but the friendships started there are strong.

-I have taken Wendy Froud’s doll making course which I highly recommend if you want to learn how to make dolls her way. (Mike Kaluta took that class too which was neat)

-I have managed several comic book stores. At one I met this guy who had written 7 issues of this comic called “Sandman” which was just out in a graphic novel. Wonder whatever happened to him?

-I am married to a wonderful man who I love more each day

How have you managed to break your nose 4 (or 5) times?

Also, what about double-jointed thumbs interferes in playing classical guitar?

Once playing rugby. Once with line drive softball. Once walking into a lighting pipe. Once falling off the back of a stage. And Caroline might have broken it a 5th time

You can't play arpeggios or it is not easy to do so because your thumb slips in and out of joint and you can't strike the string consistently.
