Mystery Doll Project is not so Mysterious

But first Heroes, wasn’t it nice to see Hiro ask like a Hero again? Peter’s comment, not a good episode for Blonds was it? I like that I want to watch that show again rather than I am watching it out of a sense of duty.

I am part of this doll challenge that is based on DiscWorld. I got the Wyrd sisters in luck of the draw (well really typing faster than anyone else). I have done research into the characters and I have a good idea what I am going to put together over the next week. Greebo is going to be a challenge too. I think I have a caldron or a mirror for them to stand around.

Today I want to get the basic bodies done and start on at least one head if not two. Magrat is going to be the hardest out of the set. So I have to decide if I am going from hard to easy or the other way around.

The next couple of days I plan to chart my progress on this project and I might even do a picture a day of where I am if anyone is interested.

But first I have a little lion to repair for Caroline. Nala’s front paw is separating at the seam. Once I get a couple of projects off of my sewing table, I’ll be putting bodies together. Also tomorrow is paper recycling with is a big deal for us and a local charity is picking up clothing tomorrow and boy howdy do I have clothing for them.

I am grateful that I did get some of my favorite DiscWorld characters to make.

I'm getting annoyed that the male-heavy cast is losing its wimmin folk. That said, I really started liking Hiro again last night. He actually showed some emotion besides hyper doll.

Yay! Discworld! Yay, the Wyrd Sisters!

Looking forward to seeing your progress on this project. :-)

Pic a day would rock! I love seeing 'The Process' *impressive music* as much as the end result, sometimes even more. And congrats on the fast fingers, the Wyrd sisters (I keep trying to spell it 'systers') should be great fun.

I for one would be very interested, both from a process standpoint and a fandom one, as the Lancre Witches are some of my heroes. Gods bless Terry Pratchett.

I'm reading the first book for the first time. Funny how I never read the series before.
