Wow, It's cold and getting colder

And colder still the next couple of days. We are in an Artic deep freeze for the next couple of days. My biggest concern is getting Caroline safely to school and back. She has gloves that she like and ear muffs that she wears over her coat hood to keep her ears and head warm. Now I just have to convince her that a scarf is a good thing too. She doesn't like things that cover her face but she is going to need it.

I bowled pretty well last night. I bowled 161, 123, and a 190. We lost the second game but needed every stick in the third to pull a win. We took 8 out of 11. It felt good to get some decent scores and sort of wish I had these on Sunday.

Today is a mix of things that need to be done and things I want to do. I guess I'll do an hour of need and an hour of want and then rinse and repeat. Fastest way to get through the list and not go crazy.

Try to stay warm everyone. Unless you are in the middle of summer then stay cool.

I hear you about Kindergarteners and the cold! Adara got a new hat and scarf for Hanukkah, and she keeps hiding them. She usually gets off the bus mittenless and with her coat unzipped. I remember feeling trapped in Winter bundling, too - but now I know why it's so important!

It is amazing to me how the wind is making it so much colder. We took Caroline by car to the school today because the wind was so bad.
