These Playoffs are for the Birds

I can't take credit for the title of this entry. The credit or blame goes directly to George R.R. Martin who wrote that line in his web log. So we have the Eagles vs. the Cardinals and the Ravens vs. the Steelers. I think we are looking at Eagles vs. the Steelers in the Superbowl.

Bowling for Ariel went very well. I hit my average barely. I couldn't buy a strike and just got more frustrated as I went along but I kept going. Ariel shot a 670 series scratch consisting of a 190, 266, and a 214. She has a 178 book average. I shot a 98 (yeah I know), 135 and a 122 with a 125 book average.

Today is a bits and piece day. There are a couple of things that I have started that I want to finish. I am also going to the gym with Peter. The exercise thing does help me.

I am in the middle of a puppet jam that I am deciding how to proceed on. My drawing in OK but kind of creepy but I am rather proud of it. Next is to build the puppet.



I am grateful for things that make me think.

My girlfriend and I are birders and we were just commenting on the same thing. We think it would be totally awesome if the Super Bowl were to be held between two bird teams (rpeference to hte Ravens because we both like them).

My average on rare ocassion do get high, like last week's did... so we have similar bowling scores.
