Voter 246

Peter and I went to our polling place. It took us 15 minutes to vote and the line as we left was a bit longer than when we came in. It usually takes less than 5 at our polling place and that is with chatting with the poll workers. So turn out in our area is defiantly up from previous years.

Did you know that the next president is going to be left-handed?

I am cleaning up the living room as we are going to have some of our local friends over to watch the election returns and possibly play some board games.

I feel good about voting.

I am grateful to my parents for instilling in me at a very early age how important it was to vote and what a privilege it was to be able to vote.

I voted straight after work, as usual. No line to check my name, only two people in front of me for the booth. One was a college-age kid obviously voting for the first time. Go, him!

The longest line I've ever seen at this polling place was about five people, so this was pretty normal.
