Wizard World Philly 2008 Day 1
After New York ComicCon, this one is easy to navigate but still large. The emphasis is comic books and that is quite evident. Most of the major publishers are here. It is more comic book than manga driven. There are also the exclusives that are sold only at Wizard Cons and some of them are really quite cool.
We spent part of the day getting acclimated and I spent a chunk of the day taking care of a few things that needed taking care of. I took Caroline swimming. I got a package off to Harlan. I found small screwdrivers so I could put the batteries into Ariel's Doctor Who watch. Peter did a signing at the Marvel booth and spent most of the rest of the day at his table. Ariel got some free time to run around and look at everything.
Today Peter's schedule is a little fuller with panels and signings. Caroline wants to go swimming again. And I will go with the flow.
I am grateful for the nice people at Wizard who have been so helpful.
