Waiting for Peter

I know his plane landed safely because we have spoken this morning. I am now waiting for him to get back to the house. I am going to be so glad to see him. You get use to having someone around especially someone you love and when they are not there you feel like there a hole where they should be.

I did get the house into shape for him and that is the extent to what I got done yesterday. I need to get more done today. I have to go find some materials for the dolls and Puppets for DragonCon. I know what I want to do and how I want to do it. Now it is a matter of finding the materials I need/want to create them.

Caroline had a blast at her swimming lesson. The practice she got on vacation is evident in her expanding abilities to swim.

Ariel did pretty well at her bowling league last night. I cooked us up a nice dinner after she got back.

He's home!

And he brought gifts. Caroline got the San Diego Superhero My Little Pony which she loves. Ariel got Buckbeak and I got Fawkes. I have a preview of the Brian Froud "World of Faerie" which Brian signed to me with a cute goblin picture. There is other stuff but he shipped it because it was easier than trying to get it on the plane and off the plane intact.

I am so grateful to having my husband home again.

Can I say that was a touchingly sweet opening paragraph that I hope he reads?

Gifts are always good when a daddy returns home from a trip. I'm jealous of the custom art (I love getting creators/writers/artists to sign stuff). Please consider posting a pic of it sometime if able.

Swimming used to scare me as a kid so good for her on enjoying the lesson.

It's also nice to read that bowling is continuing to be a fun activity. I was able to get about ten good years from it.

Cheers and thanks for sharing.
