Happy Birthday SHEILA!
Today my little sister (OK my only sister) turns 37.
I can remember that mom would let me hold her as a baby. She was squirmy.
I remember going to a Duran Duran concert with her where she won the dance contest and got to meet the band. That got us front row seats to the concert too.
I remember her having to sit between me and Sean or my parents when we went anywhere as a family. Yes we did say "Stop touching me".
I remember when she fractured her collar bone falling down the stairs of the house my parents had just bought.
I remember being stunned when she informed me that she was going to Japan.
I remember watching her and Patrick have these really complicated stories going on with our Star Wars action figures.
I remember taking her to her first Science Fiction convention.
I remember how proud I was of her when she became a paralegal and took control of her life again.
I remember how proud I felt when I heard that she had found a condo she wanted to buy and then bought it.
Happy Birthday Kiddo!
Your Big Sister is really proud of all that you have accomplished.
I am grateful to have Sheila as my sister.
