RTBTCKI (The 2007 Cinco De Mayo Edition)

First Happy Cinco De Mayo to any and all who celebrate the battle of Battle of Puebla sort of the Mexican version of the 300 with better results. Here in the States the adult beverage companies have made it the equivalent of their version of St. Patrick's Day which is kind of sad.

Caroline likes to put her stuffed animals into family groups. She always has. Right now I have an elephant family in the hallway, a giraffe family on the steps, a lion and white tiger family on one sofa and the panda family residing in her bed. So far the cats, dogs, and dinosaurs are still "asleep" and put away.

It promises to be a nice day today. Looks like great weather for any of the playgrounds in the area. I have a feeling that Caroline is going to be spending some time outside today being able to run free. (Free Range Caroline?)

I have been looking at pictures of Caroline. I found on my hard drive pictures from the day of her birth. It is hard to believe that the little bundle that fit into the crook of my arm is now the little girl who is now playing with her puppies and dinosaurs in the middle of the living room. You've come a long way kiddo and I have been here for all of it.

Think good thoughts as I am applying for a job in editorial at TOR. I have no idea how it will go but if I don't do it then I will be wondering what would have happened if.

I am grateful for work that interests me.

Also, turns out I'm going to BEA this year. I think I'm going to take a few "bracketing" days before and after the show to play. If BEA doesn't eat my every spare moment, would you like to try for lunch or something?
