making do

Today has not been one of my better days.

The car needs a new transmission due to the old one seizing up. I had a bad feeling that this was the problem when I couldn't get it into gear yesterday.

Leah's funeral was today.

Caroline and I had a "debate" about brushing her hair. I am betting those shocked looking people who heard her scream wondered if someone was being murdered in the house.

On the postive side I did get the house picked up and Caroline helped me keep the living room in order.

I know that George Takei and Chris Eccelston have scenes in Heroes together. So my six degrees when down to one. (Well it was at 3 or 2 depending on how you count it)

I have my health as does my family.

We do have one working vehicle so that's good.

I am grateful for all the nice things that happened today.

Been there and done that with the car and the hair.
Sorry

Thanks.

The car is about 15 years old with a lot of miles on it but it is cheaper than getting another car.

The hair is just something that we will deal with...probably with ear plugs.

Or scissors? That might work. (Or not.)

My sympathies on the bad day.

One would think that a hair cut would solve it however considering the reaction of the hairbrish and what I have to do to get her to be still, I think that scissors would be worse. She tangles her fingers in her hair to prevent me from brushing it.

I have no idea how it became such a rats nest but it is. Curly hair tends to tangle more than straight hair.

hugs from me too. Try Mane and Tail shampoo and conditioner. Its made for very curly hair. my niece uses it all the time to help with tangles.

Thank you :)

I did need that.
