Willing

Today we went to our lawyer's office and took care of the wills which needed to be updated since Caroline was born and our original lawyer passed away. Not a fun thing to do but something that needed to be done. We also confirmed our living wills and medical wishes if something should happen. All stuff that makes you think about things you would rather not think about but once it is done we can file the paperwork and know that our legal ass(etts) are covered. One of those pesky necessities of life.

I am grateful that we did this today.

Michael and I are revising ours as well this month.

We've had too many recent reminders and reasons.

It is one of those things that you just really don't want to think about. Wills are scary things but in the world we live in today we need that sort of thing to make sure that our wishes are known.

I made out my first will when I went in for my angioplasty operation. A very sobering thing. Especially to think who will get my collection of stuff?

Considered the mass and scope of your various collections that must have been "fun".

I was thinking about you today when Peter and I were dicussing Dr. Who.
