Not a Good Morning

I awoke to my foot throbbing which is bad since it was getting better. I know I have a heel spur in that foot but the inflammation seemed to have gone away but apparently I have aggravated it again and every step is pain.

I didn't get the two things done I really needed to get done yesterday so they are hanging over my head like the sword of Damocles today. I have got to get those projects done today. Caroline has yet again gotten into the DVDs and I have to clean the ones that she put fingerprints all over which can be a real chore. The living room looks like a paper bomb has hit it because we had to find something that vanished off the face of the earth. Ariel forgot something she promised to do and now we are left sorting out how she is going to meet all her obligations which some people are not being very helpful about.

On the upside even though Caroline went to sleep about 7 last night, she didn't get up until 6 this morning. We were concerned she was going to hop out of bed at 4. *Sigh* There goes another crash as the cats knock a bunch of stuff off a bookshelf because they are chasing each other.

I am so tense today. I can feel my shoulders up to my ears which is not good for me. There are days that it is not fun to be me and so far this has been one of them.

I am grateful for anything that goes right for me today.

I'm sorry to hear things are tough today. Bone spurs are no fun at all.

Don't sweat the mess and destruction. It can be taken care of later. Focus on the important stuff, make sure you make time for yourself later in the day (when and if Caroline takes a nap), and let the rest attend to itself. The more you push yourself under these conditions the more tense and stressed out you'll get.

All of which I know you know perfectly well, but I'd be remiss if I didn't try to help. ;)

Which is one of the many reasons we have been friends as long as we have. Thanks CH.
