RTBTCKI I own a dead man's coat

Fall has come to Long Island. The trees are starting to shed their leaves. The evenings are much crisper and one needs a coat to wander out to pick up one’s daughter from Show Choir practice.

So I go into the closet and pull out a fall coat that fits me very well. Peter got it for me at a charity auction at a convention he went to. It is a costume piece that was created for Kung Fu the Legend Continues for David Carradine as Kwai Chang Caine that was used quite a bit. It is a lovely piece of workmanship and works really well for this sort of weather.

The World Series is tied at one game apiece and the Cubs came roaring back. Cleveland had some chances later in the game but couldn’t capitalize on them like the Cubs couldn’t the day before. Next game will be played at Wrigley Field and it is going to be interesting to see the energy that is going generate. It is still an awesome ballpark.

Caroline’s costume is coming along nicely. It has to be done for the Harvest Dance tomorrow night so we have some work to do. Then the weekend is some puppet repair and one build along with getting the comics ready for giving away.

Monday is Halloween so we need to be ready for that.

Tuesday is another adventure which I have no idea what the outcome is going to be so more on that after whatever happens.

Then things calm down for a bit, I think.

They have announced that the first episode of what will probably be the last season of Sherlock will be on New Years Day. It is entitled the Six Thachers. The Christmas episode of Doctor Who looks insane. Apparently we are delving into Super-heros.

Peter is up in Connecticut helping out his sister so it is just Caroline and me right now. He will be back sometime late Saturday. My mother-in-law is not doing too well right now so this gives Peter some time with her too.

I think it is going to rain today. The sky just has that look to it.

Off to work on the next piece of the costume.

I am grateful that Peter could go help Beth.
