New York Comic Con is this next weekend

And Peter is a guest of the convention along with a number of our friends and acquaintances. The whole family will be there Saturday and Sunday while Peter will be there all three days. So we have two conventions in a row which can be a bit stressful. Next time this happens to me this year is when LunaCon and Icon are one week after another.

Other Random Bits from FarPoint
I had fun, as always, hanging with Terry and Keith. Our last panel was the New Who Review which we knew we were going to have fun with if anyone showed up or not. Keith announced the Doctor Who anthology that I am doing a story for that Big Finish is going to be publishing. So I can talk a bit about that now.

The redone cafe sucked raw eggs. The grand genius that came up with getting rid of the tables and chairs so you could sit and eat in the cafe deserves an atomic wedgie. The food selection is about the same as it had been but I really don't like the set up.

The pool heater was broken so Caroline didn't get to swim much at all which disappointed her a lot. It was working on Friday and apparently went out Saturday making the pool close to unusable on Sunday.

This one is sort of for my siblings. I ran into Roger, Jimmy's Friend, who had hair down to his butt and is now sporting much shorter hair. He use to come to the parties with Jimmy and was a dealer at a lot of conventions we use to go to. We figured we hadn't seen each other in about 10 years so we caught up on news and I caught him up on family stuff. (Sean the last time he saw you, you had just asked Rozanna to marry you to give you a time frame). He is doing well and will be in the dealers room at DragonCon and wants to see all the O'Sheas again.

Creative Endeavors
A number of people list what they are working on for their writing. I thought about doing that for both writing and other artistic activities but I am reluctant to do so since it will probably guilt me about some of the projects so I made a handwritten list for the rest of this month. I feel only a little less guilty but I think I can get done everything I want to get done. Right now my energy is going towards picking up from the last project so I am "back to one" (I'll be able to tell the real movie buffs from that phrase).

The nice thing is that I do have so many creative ideas swirling around in my head. We figured out Shoreleave because I finally have enough people to do what I want to do for a costume. Between the Usual Suspects and a few additional warm bodies I can wrangle, I think this one can be pulled off. I just need to find someone who can edit together the sound for me since I have had no luck finding a program I can use on this computer to do so.

Caroline
She amazes me everyday. She has gone from a small baby that depended on me for even the littlest thing to an independent young lady who wants to do for herself. Her imagination is boundless. Her ability to do certain things amazes me. She had great fun this weekend being one of the big kids and running around with her big sister. Her hugs and kisses can pull me out of the darkest mood. She is now cleaning up after herself without being asked which is a blessing indeed. I really wonder if she is going to read through the adventures of her early life and have any memory of what she had done. This morning she picked up one of our rubber cleaning gloves and turned it into a puppet. I love how she looks at the world. She is my precious jewel.

Off to clean the house in less than 24 hours.

I am grateful for to everyone who showed up at my puppetry workshop.
