We have part of our Weekend planned....
Caroline has informed us which movie we are seeing this week-end and the winner is Cars. She saw the front page of the entertainment section and the ad with in and started asking for her shoes to be put on. We are going to take her later today I believe. Peter and I want to see "The Break-Up" which I think we have a shot at. So we may actually see two movies this weekend.
I have to find all the pieces of the Mugato outfit which are currently I believe in 3 places. I wasn't sure if I would ever use that beast again but apparently we have at least one more use for it.
The weather has been rainy, cloudy, briefly sunny and then rainy again. At least our lawn look really lush right now. There are a couple of bare patches where the sun killed it last year during our drought but I think if I get some seed down now with all the rain I can fill them in. I would like to do something with the flower bed at some point. It may not be this year but I hope to get to it next year. I do so want to get some tomato plants and an herb garden going.
Fall of Knight is out in bookstores now. I think it is a good conclusion to his Arthur trilogy. As usual Peter poses some interesting questions that he gives possible answers to through the story. Later this month is Writing Comics with Peter David which is his take on writing for that genre. It will answers that perennial question, "How do you write a comic book script?"
Tonight is the final episode of the Eccelston Dr. Who. I found it pretty darn powerful and I did shed a tear at the end the first time I watched it (well and the second time too). The rescue of Rose is also a real treat.
I want to get something done today just to jumpstart my head at least. I may just make hands or start on the sculpt of a head or sit down and figure out what I need to make a set of Doctor Who puppets.
I am grateful when books and comics of Peter's are released so I can FINALLY talk about them.
