Football Predictions

Long night and not much sleep. Caroline woke up about 3 AM but Peter was still up working so I got a little more there. Ariel missed the bus so I had to haul her to school. Getting my brain working that well in 30 seconds doesn't happen as easily as it did when I was younger. *sigh*

I think Sharon is gone. I can't say that any of the reports I have read have given me any hope that he will be as he was before the strokes. The party he created will crumble and that part of the Middle East will return to the quagmire it was before he and his people tried to get things sorted out. I know Sharon is not a saint and he did things during his lifetime that were not pretty or even possibly legal but in the end he did try to make things better for the people of the Middle East. I hope his legacy does not self-destruct because he has passed on.

I still have a stuffy heavy head. The coughing has been greatly reduced and over all I am feeling better. Sinus pain, however, has become just part of my life. I haven't found anything that is really giving me relief. Caroline was doing better yesterday and I hope for her continued recovery today. I didn't have to give her any cough medicine and her nose seems to be clearing up. Humidifiers do work for these sorts of things. You just have to make sure that they are clean and free of mold and mildew.

Football predictions for the play-offs.

I think the Giants will beat the Panthers even with the injuries from last week. This one is going to be a close one.

I thing the Jaguars will beat the Pats. The defense is better for the Jags although the Pats have a good offence.

I think that the Bucs will beat the Redskins but in overtime.

I think the Steelers will beat the Bengals by a good margin.

Now if my predictions are true to form the opposite will happen but it should be some good football this weekend.

I am grateful I can breath through my nose.

Just Six Words

Six words: Don't you think Bush looks tired?

If you understand the meaning, post this on your blog. Pass it on.
