How it went
A rather late entry I know but I was getting ready for the possible storm that might be blowing in our direction. We should know more tomorrow night but they are predicting anywhere from 6 inches to 18 inches depending on a number of weather conditions. So I stocked the larder and made sure we have plenty of popcorn since if the storm does hit we are going to do our EE Lord of the Rings Festival. There is a blizzard warning for the area from noon to noon. Should be fun.
The interview went well I think. I can never tell. All I know is that 5 years ago I was doing this same sort of thing trying to convince Del Rey to hire me. Who says there is no ageism in corporate America these days? Yes, I may be over qualified but this job is the only way into the club since they tend to move people up from within the company. I’ll keep y’all posted on it as I find out more information.
I shoveled off the walk and salted it so that anyone coming up to our front door would be able to do so in safety. The down side is that we are now tracking salt into the house that has to be cleaned quickly off the floor.
