Cough.....Sneeze...Wheeze and Boom
The actors did a great job in the face of adversity. During the first half hour we blew a circuit breaker and lost all but one light tree. The House Manager asked me if she should bring up the house lights. She pulled up a few choice lights and I filled in with what I had on that one tree. The actors got through the show to thunderous applause. We worked out what went wrong and with luck we will have it sorted out by this evening. I finished all my prop obligations to the show. One more tonight and then I have almost a week off.
Caroline is sick. This is a pretty rare thing as long time readers would know. She has a terrible cold and is running a fever. She is a miserable little girl. Yesterday she spent most of the day curled up on the couch or in a parent's lap. Today she seems to be doing a little better since she is playing quietly with her toys. I am not doing much better with a fever, runny nose, and sore throat. I am going to get through tonight's show and then I am going to collapse.
I am grateful for actors who just go with the flow.

I'm off to see Sean in about an hour. He's in town for the Potato Man competition! I'll likely come away with the Spud once again, but it's fun just to play. ;)
