Potato Moon and the Hive Mind

There are a lot people who don’t get copyright. It is not an easy thing to get with lots of ins and outs and rules that apply to certain situations but not others. Then there are the chosen few who come up with their own interpretation of the laws that are so out there, it is like looking at a car wreck.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have that car wreck in the form of a fan trying to justify her book about some of the characters from Twilight and every time they are presented with why this is a bad idea, they come up with why they can do it.

So Peter had decided that something must be done since he is not going to take the rap for Jar Jar Binks.

You can find the information here

Please join in and help me make this go viral. I want as many people to participate and read and write as we can possibly get. There is no monetary reward but you get to be part of a really good chuckle and get to say that you were part of this.

So my plea for you is to go spread this far and wide. I want to help Peter create an Internet juggernaut for the ages.

I am grateful to everyone who helps us in this.

I signed up. I think what I love best about this will the dawning realization on this fan that her version of copyright means she can't stop this from happening. :D If we could be a fly on the wall, eh?

If I knew *anything* about Twilight, I'd so do this.

Oh that article makes me so mad. (the one by the stupid git - not Peter :D)

We don't own our characters? It's just part of a hive mind? Grrrr.

Also tempted...

As I commented there, it's the first thing to give me a reason to read Twilight. O_o

*swoon* I love this! Especially having recently endured a frustrating series of emails with someone who wanted me to paint an 'Iron Man' fencing mask for him but didn't want to pursue getting permission and didn't understand that just moving a couple of lines wasn't going to satisfy the copyright fairies.

Hehehe! What a fabulous idea! :D

I sent the link to my Twilight-hating, vampire-novel-writing colleague (the one I bought the Buffy stakes Edward shirt for).

I dunno...

I don't like violating copyrights if it doesn't have "Electric Boogaloo" in the title.
