I think the internet is the new drama monster. I wonder if the speed and accessibility of the telephone had these kinds of issues when it first became mainstream?

I have to admit...I'm guilty of causing drama on LJ which, if you've been reading my blog, is plain as day. I think I'm going to come up with a list of rules for myself about making posts and posting comments and such. Maybe I'll get into the habit of NOT putting my foot in my mouth...

All I can say is that I have enjoyed pretty much every book Peter has written that I have read. He and [livejournal.com profile] kradical and so many others (David Mack, Dayton Ward, Michael Jan Friedman, John Vornholt, to name some of my other favorites) have spun so many tales that inspire me to be creative and daring in my own writing and have added so much to some of my fandoms...

For every pissed off fan, there's probably 4 or 5 of us that still appreciate all the work our favorite artists go through.

Speaking of... Is there something in the water? I know John Scalzi has been defending another author here on LJ who has been getting flack from his fans because he's still working on the next novel in a series while also working on several other projects...

*sigh* *hugs*
