This is way cool, and not just because of who the grooms were (or because you got to be there, which is amazingly wonderful), but because this sort of thing can happen now. And be recognized by the state as well as by the friends of the intendeds.

When I heard about the wedding I was pleased for George (and Brad, by extension), that he and his partner could now actually be married.

And it's a lovely picture as well. :-)
