I did not get the grass mowed on my day off due to being ill...I can only hope it is dry enough tomorrow afternoon to not bog the mower down.

I'm like you in that respect of gifts...I want things I'll use, but that I typically would not buy for myself. (Namely because the money I would spend is better used on other people...)
