He wrote some wonderful books and could be a controversial figure but love him or hate him he was one of the giants in SF.

I'm so glad I knew of him. I'm so glad he had as long and fulfilling a life as he had. I'm glad he kept his intelligence and sense of humor. I'm glad he saw so much of what he predicted and popularized come to pass.
