Well Finally Peter Jackson gets his due
Personally, I am very happy that the Academy finally recognized this work as a whole. I still think it stinks that it took them 3 years to do it. Yes, yes I have heard the logic and reasoning behind it, but I still didn't like it.
The only quibble I had was for song. I really thought that "Belleview Rendez-vous" is a heck of a lot more memorable than "Into the West" and better composed over all. YMMV.
