Honestly, I think every artist does that. It comes of being so close to the process -- I know I see every uneven stitch, every place where I got impatient and Magnatac'd stuff instead of sewing, the places on recreations where I decided, "That's too complicated; I'm taking this shortcut." Viewers see only the finished product, not the blood sweat and tears that (literally) go into it.
