Caroline sounds a lot like Ethan: very headstrong and stubborn, but also very empathetic and caring of others. And also one of the pickiest eaters on the entire planet. ;) But most kids are extremely picky eaters at first. I think it stems for a need to have stability in an environment where so much new stuff is being discovered each and every day.

The potty training will get there. Ethan only just recently became completely potty trained, and he will turn four next month. In his case I think that watching the kids at preschool helped a lot, but it's really hard to say. He was very, very stubborn about it for a long time, but once he got the idea and was happy with it, everything fell into place.

And don't change the lj for anything. It's wonderful.
