I went to the Doctor and she examined the knee and the shoe that I think caused the problem. It is an inflamed tendon that needs rest and a really good anti-inflammatory to counteract the swelling. She agreed that the hole in lining of the shoe probably threw my gate off which led to the pulling of the tendon. So when you have mysterious leg problems, double check that your shoes are in good order.

Now here’s the rub, it hurts when I used the gas peddle and the sewing machine peddle. No sew for a day or so on the machine to allow my knee to sort itself out.

That’s hard to do since a majority of what I need to do is sew on the machine.

I have a list in my head of all the things I can do without involving the sewing machine, which includes getting everything cut out and ready for the sewing machine. I can put the ‘skulls’ together. I can work out patterns of things.

I can choreograph the sketch with the music.

And in a day or so, I can get back to the machine and get things moving along.

Let’s see what I can get done in a week. Because I honestly have a week and a half to finish all this.

I am grateful for a diagnosis and a treatment plan.
