Crafty Tuesday RTBTCKI The Crafty Edition
I had a conversation with one of my fellow bowlers about what puppets I was working on now. She ended it with ‘I wish I was creative as you’. I informed her that she was creative in her own way. I then pointed out a number of things that people don’t think about. Like being able to cultivate a vegetable garden or cook a really good meal. It’s not all painting or sculpting or digital art.
So let me tell you now dear reader, you are a creative individual even if you think you are not.
It is almost a perfect day to build puppets. It is wet and raining and showing no signs of subsiding. So time to dig out the next two projects and see how much I can get done in a couple of days.
I swear I am going to do the New Mutant Warlock puppet I have been having run through my head. Bill Sienkiewicz’s artwork is my inspiration for it. He has been posting new drawings he has been doing of all the New Mutants for a book that IDW is putting out later this year. And I am very inspired to think outside the box on this one.
Coffee is brain fuel or at least a jump start for me.
I had to get creative with exercise yesterday as two of the machines I use regularly were broken. I did figure out other ways to recreate the motion with free weights and the stretch cage. However this morning I can feel what I did in my Gluteus Maximus, which apparently is not happy with me.
Writing fiction right now is like pulling teeth. I can do it but I am not enjoying it as much as I usual do. Still setting out an hour to write each day even if all I do is look at the blinking cursor.
Working out a system of doing something even like laundry is creative.
Well need to get the day moving forward and get some more coffee.
I am grateful for creative inspiration in all its forms.
