Less than Zero
My thermometer has it at -2 but it is in the shade. The wind is just making it colder. The heat is pretty much running all the time but it cuts just the cold to where you feel cold but not FREEZING which happens if you happen to step outside for some reason. I am bundled up with cats being used as additional heat as I type this.
More snow is in the forecast for tomorrow but I am not expecting much from it. Whatever comes down will at least stick to the snow/ice we have right now which is lingering because we haven't been above freezing, or even close, since it fell. I am glad that the girls have off on Monday for Martin Luther King Day because it will give the streets and sidewalks another day to thaw before they go back to school.
Battlestar was interesting. No spoilers here but there may be in the comments if you haven't seen it. The twists were rather unexpected but the reveal of the last model didn't do much for me. We figure that by the end of the series all the women are going to be dead and the comic book guy is going to be in the last shot saying gayest series ever. So one down and nine to go episodes that is not characters.
Friday Night Lights was on but we plan to catch up on that probably this evening. Peter and Caroline watch the animated Star Wars series and then Ben 10 Alien Force from 9 to 10. Actually, Caroline falls asleep by the end of Ben 10 in Peter's lap pretty much every week. We also recorded Monk and Psych. Once Dollhouse and Sarah Conner get added to the mix, we don't know what we are going to do since ht DVR only records two things at a time. So Friday 9-11 has become a big cluster of stuff we want to see and Sunday 9-11 is the same.
Off to make pancakes for the family and then figure out what to do next. Bundled up comes to mind.
I am grateful for things that make me warmer.
