Conventional Cousins

My sister-in-law Beth and her husband Randi are here at the conventions with their two daughters Sarah (6) and Emma (4). Caroline loves playing with her cousins and this weekend the three of them have been pretty much inseparable. Last night the three of them went to a Harry Potter Party for the kids of the convention with Ariel and her friends. They had a lot of fun playing with the other kids too. They are now all big enough that they can enjoy the convention and each other's company. The adults love it because we can take turns as guardians for the pack and let the others have some time to enjoy the convention without pushing a stroller.

I am gearing myself up for this evening. I have two pretty heavy make-up jobs to do which will both take some time to make look good. I want to arrange my tools and stuff so I can be efficient. I hope to have some pictures posted by tomorrow. I will at least write up what we did. We do have some stiff competition this year if the people that I think are in do. This time I have pictures of the originals I am trying to recreate for the judges and for workmanship which I am going to enter this year.

Today I have a panel on Star Wars Costuming and two on Doctor Who. Tomorrow I think I have one more Doctor Who panel. Last night I caught up with a bunch of people and even did some business with an editor that I have needed to talk to for a while. We'll see if anything comes of it.

I am grateful that the cousins are having so much fun.
