Thunder and Lighting

We are looking at isolated Thunderstorms for the next couple of days. Makes life interesting because you can be driving down Long Island and have your weather conditions change almost every mile depending on if the storms are going north/south or east/west. We could use the rain but not the lighting strikes. We could also get nothing in our area.

Coat is progressing. I ran out of one thing I need to finish it so a trip to the fabric store is on the list today along with a bunch of other errands that we need to run. We are down to one car because the passenger side door is broken on the van. A bolt fell out and you can't open the door without it falling off. That one had our mechanic scratching his head.

So today is going to be a lot about errands then I want to finish this coat and move onto the next part of our program. I am trying to get a majority of this costume done by July 1st.

I am grateful that the door disaster happened in our driveway rather than out on the road.
