Jackets are a pain in the......
You would think after making 4 Snape coats with linings I would remember how much of a pain a formal jacket can be. But no, I am making another one. I am almost at the half way point in the jacket. It is going faster because I did make 4 Snape coats so a lot of the stuff I figured out with those coats translates to this coat with the exception of the collar that I am having to freehand because it is such a weird collar. My goal now is to be down to the hand sewing by the end of business on Wednesday. Then the other project gets my full attention.
Other than that not too much happened yesterday. We have found out that Ariel passed Chemistry (barely) so she is no longer slated to go to summer school which means that we can finally put all our summer plans in place. A big sigh of relief went through Casa David. Now we just need to find out her other grades to find out if she can get on the internet this summer at all or if she is still on restrictions.
