In Terms of certainties, it beats the alternative

Well here in the US of A it is tax day. That dreaded day when if you haven’t paid your taxes then you have until midnight tonight to do it IF you have a post office that is open to midnight. I filled mine yesterday. I parked right in front of the post office, which was a miracle on its own since that post office NEVER has parking in front, stepped inside and walked straight to the counter. Checked with the clerk to make sure I had enough postage and went on my merry way. Today they have a postal clerk standing outside collecting the returns sort of an importune drive through. Procrastination as an art form.

I am still trying to pick myself up from the convention. Caroline picked up a bug and has been sick. She seems on the mend, but is very confused by the act of coughing. Here it is Thursday and I feel like I have lost a chunk of the week. Monday we did go to Mets Opening day so that day was devoted to that. Tuesday and Wednesday I helped Ariel with a project for her spanish class and have a weird idea for some art for a convention that I have to work all the bugs out of before I make it. So now it is Thursday heading rapidly to the weekend. *sigh* Where does the time go? When I was a kid, time seemed to move so slow but as I get older, it has sped up. We are all time travelers since we travel through time. I need more coffee.........
