Random Thoughts while the Coffee Kicks In (Next in a series)
My mind is too scattered to make a one subject coherent entry this morning. This one is going to be one of those flow entries.
Peter is off to ComicCon. He left at 5:30 this morning to fly to San Diego. He already has a packed schedule and is trying to fit in more. I don’t think there will be any tattoos this year.
I have what I call fuzzy brain this morning and have had for the past week or so. It is hard to focus and I feel like I am in a fog. I am still a bit sleep deprived and probably will be until we go on vacation this next week. I think part of it is that I haven’t had uninterrupted sleep for the past week. Shoreleave I love but the beds at the hotel have a lot to be desired. I am use to sleeping on a pretty firm mattress so the marshmallow we got was not conducive to sleep.
My friend Mary Aileen is coming over and we are going to be going to lunch. Ariel is going to baby-sit Caroline for me. I also have a bunch of errands to run including a trip to the post office. It is going to be a busy day for me and mine.
Mommy and Me was a bit of a disaster. Caroline was in her very anti-social mood. She was fine playing with the kids but she did not want to participate in any of the structured activities. Not even the ones that she normally does participate in. She had a major meltdown and I had to take her to the lobby area to calm down. Her teacher knows that this is abnormal behavior for her but for the mothers I had never met I can’t think she made a good impression. The class is mostly boys but they are very well behaved for 2 year olds so I am nor worried about that aspect of the summer.
I am thinking about selling the costumes I did for Shoreleave on E-bay. I am going to research it a bit before I do it. I do think I am going to clean up the hands and put them in an art show or two to see if I can sell them. They are just weird enough I am hoping to find someone who has always wanted a pair of them. I need to get my stuff together for both the arts shows I am going to be participating in and the puppet workshop I think I am doing at CresentCity Con barring hurricanes.
Speaking of hurricanes, this is the most active beginning of a hurricane season in recorded history. I wonder if there is any connection to the tsunami that happened in December. The earth has been rumbling a lot lately.
I am grateful for any two coherent thoughts I can put together today.
